using videos in class
today in class we went over the uses of video technology in a pe setting. i think this is a very useful tool to adapt into a class. there are so many possible ways to use video to enhance a students learning experience. one example i like is a model demonstration, using video to demonstrate the proper techniques and gives you as the teacher the ability to pause the video and explain exactly what the critical elements are for the specific skill. This information will be very useful to me and i cant wait to try to incorparate this technology into a actual classroom to see how well the students adapt to it.

I agree that using videos is a great way to demonstrate proper techniques is awesome! I always found it easier to learn a skill if I saw a video of the proper way to do it. Also, when the teacher would pause the tape and draw attention to aspects that we needed to pay close attention to it made it so much easier for me to fallow and do the skill correctly. I think more teachers need to incorporate short videos into their teaching. I like your post mikey!!!
